Registration Policies



  • We accept registrations through the mail with payment enclosed or online or over the phone with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, AmEx, or Discover).

  • Registration is on a first-come first-served basis.

  • Registration includes a Makin’ Music CD, which you’ll receive at your first class.

  • Class registration is not guaranteed until tuition is received.

  • Classes with low registration might be changed to one-teacher classes.

  • Some classes might be cancelled due to very low registration. If this happens, we will do our best to move you to another class that works for your schedule, or we will give you a full refund.



  • Your phone registration will serve as your confirmation of class registration.

  • If you register online, you will receive confirmation via email. 

  • If you register by mail, include your email and phone so we can send confirmation.

Tuition for 10- and 6-week sessions include a CD.  Additional CDs can be purchased for $15.


Pricing for a 10-week session is as follows:

  • $165 for one child

  • +$75 for a second sibling in the same class

  • +$50 for third sibling (or more) in the same class


Summer sessions - 6-weeks:

  • $100 for one child

  • +$45 for a second sibling in the same class

  • +$25 for a third sibling (or more) in the same class


Drop-in Classes:

  • $15 for one child

  • +$10 for each additional child

Make Up Policies


Make Ups:

  • We will allow two makeup classes per family, which must be used in the current session.

  • You do not need to register for your make-up classes - just show up to one of the other scheduled classes.

  • We ask that you do not bring any extra siblings or grown-ups to your make-up class to avoid overcrowding.

  • There will be an extra week of class at the end of the session for make-ups and inclement weather cancellations.  Depending on the number of families needing to use this, we may consolidate classes during the makeup week. 



Make Up Class Schedule:

You may attend any of the following classes for a make up.

  • Ocean View Presbyterian Church - Mondays at 10:00 AM

  • Create! Studio for the Arts - Tuesdays at 10:00 AM & 6:30 PM, Thursdays at 10:00 AM, Fridays at 9:30 AM & 10:30 AM, Saturdays at 10:00 AM

Inclement Weather & School Delays



Winter can mean BAD weather and as much as we hate to do it, sometimes we have to cancel Makin’ Music classes because of it. So before the snow starts falling, we want everyone to know what to expect. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.


If local schools are cancelled, we probably are too—but not always. If the weather is bad, or is predicted to be bad, check our Facebook page for updates, or call us at (302)448-6337. We’ll have announcements at both places by 8:00 am (or by 5:00 pm for evening classes).

If we cancel class, an extra class will be added to the end of the session. We’ll only do this for one class—if the weather is really rotten, and we’re forced to cancel more than one week of any class, then you’ll have to make up the rest in make-up classes on your own. 

If we are running class, but you aren’t able to attend or would rather not venture out in questionable weather, then you’re welcome to make up the class with our regular make up policy.




We know that some of you have older, school-aged children, and that fog delays are pretty common.  If you are registered for our earlier class, you are more than welcome to join us in our later class at 10:30, or any other class that suits your schedule.
